## Our Mission

To make Earth radically more accessible by turning space into a global logistics network.

Just as the advent of aircraft transformed the sky into a medium for transportation, Inversion is pioneering a new domain by turning space into a global logistics network. History shows that those who embrace step-changes in transportation – sea, rail, air – set the rules and prosper.

Today, the same opportunity exists in space, and Inversion is determined the ensure the U.S. maintains its lead, just as it did with aviation a century ago.

By utilizing Low-Earth Orbit as an on-demand logistics network, we expand global responsiveness, strengthen deterrence, and lay the foundation for a new era of security and prosperity enabled by space.

## Founding Story

The year was 2021. Rocket launches were becoming increasingly routine. As aerospace engineers at SpaceX and ABL, roommates Justin Fiaschetti and Austin Briggs witnessed this firsthand. Rockets were carrying more mass to orbit at lower costs – but almost nothing was coming back down. They asked: what if orbit wasn’t just a destination, but a platform? One that could span the planet and enable transportation across Earth at unprecedented speed and scale. The idea was too powerful to ignore. They left their jobs and turned their garage into the headquarters of Inversion.

Over the next four years, they went through Y Combinator, raised $44 million, secured a $71 million Space Force contract, and built a spacecraft that successfully went to orbit. Today, Inversion is a 60-person team with a 55,000-square-foot facility in Los Angeles and a dedicated test site in the Mojave Desert.

### Justin Fiaschetti
**CEO**  
Before co-founding Inversion, Justin was a former propulsion engineer on Raptor at SpaceX and on Aeon at Relativity Space.

### Austin Briggs
**CTO**  
Before co-founding Inversion, Austin was an early employee at ABL Space Systems and the Responsible Engineer for the upper stage TCA.

### Jackson Kemper, III
**EVP, Business Development**  
Jackson is a proven business development leader in the aerospace and defense industry. He brings decades of experience to Inversion and was most recently at Stratolaunch serving as their Chief Revenue Officer.

### Collin Corey
**Vice President of Missions**  
Virgin Orbit’s former Director of Safety, Mission Assurance, and Launch Licensing, Collin holds 18 orbital rocket launch licenses and multi-national launch licenses.

### Bryan Munro
**Director of Engineering - Reentry**  
Bryan brings deep technical and leadership experience to Inversion. He was previously Principal Flight Dynamics Engineer at Stratolaunch where he played a key role in designing Talon-A, an autonomous hypersonic testbed.

### Patrick Handley
**Director of Engineering, Accurate Landing**  
Patrick brings deep GN&C and space-systems expertise to Inversion. He has held engineering roles at Starfish Space, Ball Aerospace, and Draper, applying advanced guidance, navigation, and control to flight-critical missions.

### Taishi Kato
**Director of Engineering, Avionics**  
Taishi was previously Avionics Director at ABL Space Systems and held engineering roles at Northrop Grumman, with a focus on embedded systems, firmware, and avionics architecture.

### Eduardo Mucino
**Director of Engineering, Simulation**  
Eduardo Mucino brings over a decade of experience in spacecraft dynamics, control systems, and flight operations to Inversion. He has delivered engineering solutions across the space industry and through his own consulting work on complex aerospace and defense programs.
